By making this dish, you will acquire and practice the following skills:

  • Toast and bloom spices (cumin, fenugreek, turmeric, cardamom, chilli) until fragrant.
  • Cook mushrooms over steady heat without waterlogging.
  • Mix coconut milk powder with water to form a quick, creamy sauce.
  • Break noodles directly into curry and simmer under a lid for integration.
  • Balance flavours with lemon juice at the finish.
  • Add peas at the last stage for freshness and bite.
  • Tear coriander for a rustic herbal garnish.
  • Adapt into soup by adjusting liquid and rebalancing seasoning.
